Kindergarten-Grade 2-Feet Man has huge feet, and everyone makes fun of him. One day, he gets Mr. Tiny stuck between his toes, and soon the two become fast friends. The small man finds an ad for the Husky Puppy Shoe Co. contest, with the prize a trip to Florida. Feet Man wins, of course, and the two pals leave for the beach, where Feet Man walks out onto the water and dances, drawing an approving crowd. This odd story tries to show that everyone has something special, and that even those who are different have value. The reading level is simple, but the many puns about feet may be a bit beyond the intended audience. Like the story, the cartoon watercolor-and-line illustrations are mediocre and uninspiring. Pass on this one unless you feel compelled to purchase every self-esteem title published.-Angela J. Reynolds, Annapolis Valley Regional Library, Bridgetown, NS, Canada
