Mia, Princess Jamers and Litil Barners visit their Apple-O-Orchard friends and put together a plan to build a fort in a big apple tree. An elderly Muffie-O-Nee, Mr. Saucy, is feared by the younger muffins, but they decide to build the fort in one of his big trees that overlook his Muffin house so they can spy on him. The team of fort builders uses supplies in Mr. Saucy’s barn without asking permission. When Mr. Saucy finds the muffins bruised and crying after falling out of their homemade foret, he cleans and bandages their bumps and bruises, gives them chores to repay him for the supplies they took and tehn offers to help them rebuild a new and better fort. The younger Muffie-O-Nees learn respect and how to interact with and elderly muffin. Most importantly, the younger Muffie-O-Nees learn to truly care for and elderly Muffie-O-Nee who has so much to offer as a special friend. This book teaches teamwork, interaction with peers and the elderly, learning how to respect otehrs and to ask for permission before taking something that belongs to someone else.
